This privacy policy applies to the services of GROENPLUS. You should be aware that GROENPLUS is not responsible for the privacy policies of other sites and sources. By using this website you indicate that you accept the privacy policy.

Safety and privacy
We keep your private details private
We do everything we can to keep your private information truly private. When you order something from us, you don't want people to steal your personal data. You're right.
We do ask you for information so that we can help you as best we can. Below you can read what data we ask for and how we use it. You can also see what your rights are, who has access to your data and how long we keep your data.
Would you like to know more?
Would you like to know more, for example where your data is stored or who has access to your data? That is possible. Read more below.
What are the 'legal grounds' for using your data?
According to privacy laws we have to say what 'legal grounds' we have for using your data. We need data from you because of the contractual agreements between you and GROENPLUS, such as your purchase of a product or your right to warranty. This is the case with:
Ordering & pre-order
Delivery
Return & repair
Contact with our customer service
In addition, we may use your data for 'legitimate interest'. This means that we want to give all our customers the best possible personal service. In doing so, we always consider your privacy. This applies to:
Reviews & customer satisfaction surveys
Contact with our customer service
Visiting our website
Account
Newsletter & email
Personal advice
Actions
Social media
We may also have a legal obligation to use your data, for example if we suspect fraud. And sometimes you have given us permission to use your data, such as when you sign up for the newsletter. We keep a careful record of this.
Who has access to your data?
We only give your data to other parties if that is really necessary for our services. These parties are: delivery partners, suppliers or repairers, product support, payment partners, IT service providers and parties who collect our reviews. After all, our delivery partner has to deliver your order to the right address and it is nice when a repairman visits your home to fix something. In suspicious situations we are obliged to share customer data with government agencies.
The parties who receive access to your data from us may only use it to provide you with a service on behalf of our company GROENPLUS. Unless they are responsible for obtaining and protecting your data themselves. Some cookie developers have access to the data collected by cookies on our website. You can read more about this in our cookie policy and the privacy policies of these parties. We never sell your data to third parties.
Where is your data stored?
We store your data in various databases. We always use strict security measures. Home sweet home: That is why your data is almost always stored within the European Union. In the exceptional case that customer data is transferred to countries outside the European Union, we ensure that your privacy remains adequately protected. This has been officially established for a number of countries. Some U.S. parties have registered under the Privacy Shield which provides sufficient protection. Or we work with official model contracts that are specifically designed to safeguard your privacy.
How long do we keep your data?
We do not keep and use your data longer than necessary. Then we delete all the data we have on you. Or we may use your data anonymously, as we need certain data for internal analysis and reporting, such as the value of your order.
Sounds nice and simple, but how does it work in practice? We keep certain time limits, after which we delete your data. Here's what they are:
We do not keep camera images of our store / show garden for longer than 4 weeks. Unless we see something suspicious that we need to investigate further or the images need to be kept longer due to another legal obligation.
Inactive customer accounts we delete after 7 years. After that period we use your data only anonymously, for internal reporting.
The tax authorities require us to keep our records of your invoice, payment and order details for 7 years. After that we will only use anonymous data for internal reporting. You should also keep the invoices of your purchases for when, for example, your warranty expires.
If you have your product repaired or replaced by GROENPLUS, we will keep your report and contact details for 7 years. After that we will only use your data anonymously, for internal reports.
If you have signed up for the newsletter or given permission to receive personalized messages, we will save that permission for 5 years. Even if you decide at some point that you no longer want to receive the newsletter or personalized messages, we will save the withdrawal of your request. The emails you receive from us, we keep no longer than 60 days. So you do not have to worry that you will receive the same email from us more than once. After that period, we will only use your data anonymously, for internal reports.
Data that we use to prevent fraud is kept for a very long time. Not nice, but necessary.
What are your rights?
Of course you remain in charge of your data. Would you like to see your personal data for free and receive a copy? Or would you like to change your data, delete it, limit its use or adjust your e-mail preferences? No problem at all. You can easily send us a request by e-mail (kunsthaaggp@gmail.com) or by post. This way you can also object to the use of your data for marketing purposes or indicate that you think your privacy outweighs our interest. In that case we will review the situation.
Unsubscribing from the newsletter is a piece of cake. Simply send an e-mail request to kunsthaaggp@gmail.com.
We want to make sure that you are really you. Therefore we may ask you for additional information to establish your identity. We also do this in the case of unclear requests.
For questions or complaints about your data and the protection of your privacy, please contact GROENPLUS or Ben Bergmans
